I’ve never really seen a pregnancy test before so it was a little daunting to see that the type we had purchased floated in a pool of pee until it gave you a result.

We tested out the pee buoy this morning and low and behold two lines came up meaning the tummy bug was officially a pregnancy!

I’d been sick for the few last weeks, helped friends dig out their back yard, had two rounds of local anesthetic and a week of antibiotics from yet another ear infection, so I was convinced we hadn’t gotten lucky.

Today the tummy bug is almost 5 weeks done and due on, wait for it, 07/07/07. I think the stat is 5% of babies are born on their due date so we’ll see.

The Chinese birth predictor says tummy bug is a boy, usually I hate waiting but for this, right now I’m pretty cool about it.

Smiley has poked fun at me saying I can’t keep a secret, so I’m trying not to tell my family until we visit at Christmas.
